Katherine is a CARA-nominated arranger and composer from Minneapolis, MN. She has a Masters in Composition from the Jacobs School of Music, and her musical focus is on layering, texture, and nuance within emotional story arcs. Her arrangements are featured on Voices Only & BOHSA compilations, and her work has helped clients make it to ICHSA finals and ICCA Open finals. She judges for Varsity Vocals competitions, masterclasses and teaches at regional & CASA festivals, and consults with groups to unlock the depth of their vocal expression. Katherine’s choral and chamber music has premiered throughout the US and internationally, and she hopes her work will continue bridging the gap between the contemporary a cappella and choral realms.

Andrew Bourgoin is the CEO & Lead Producer of Bourgoin Productions, designing, developing, managing, and directing projects for clients in the musical, theatrical, and corporate spaces. His prior experience includes church music, educating at the high school/college levels, music directing over 50 regional productions, and working on Broadway shows like Aladdin, and Mean Girls. Andrew is a proud graduate of St. Olaf College, three year member of the St. Olaf Choir, and deep down...an All-State Choir kid!

Jordan Roll is a founder of Six Appeal Vocal Band. In the last 13 years of touring with Six Appeal, he has been to all 50 states multiple times, as well as visiting over a dozen different countries spreading harmony worldwide.

Marita is an Assistant Professor of Music (Contemporary Voice and Musical Theatre) and Director of Musical Theatre at St. Olaf College, PAVA-recognized Vocologist, and movement specialist. She has held teaching positions at Shenandoah Conservatory, Oklahoma City University, and Senzoku Gakuen College of Music (Tokyo). Favorite performance credits include the national tour of John Doyle’s Sweeney Todd, Tokyo’s duo-language production of The Last Five Years (Cathy), Chess (Florence), Crazy for You (Polly), and many other wonderful roles. Outside of her theatrical experience, she spent many years traveling the world as a Production Singer on Celebrity and Holland America Cruise Lines. She maintains a small private voice studio with working artists in New York City, Austin, LA, and Tokyo. Marita holds degrees from Oklahoma City University (BM and MM) and a DMA in Voice Pedagogy (Voice Science Concentration) from Shenandoah Conservatory. Her teaching brings together a passion for contemporary singing styles, accessible voice science, and the mind-body connection that keeps the artist balanced, aware, and receptive.

Jim Emery, also known as the Vocal Jim, brings over 30 years of vocal experience to his speaker and singer coaching. As a leader in public performance judging, Jim brings a wealth of insights based on years of judging, coaching, and performing.

Kym relocated to the Twin Cities from New York City. Kym works as a professional actor/singer/dancer and has worked on the Broadway Tours Cats (Jellylorum, Grizabella, and Jennyanydots), Cinderella (The Queen), and The Wizard of Oz (u/s Wicked Witch/Miss Gulch). Kym received a BA from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota) and an MA in Vocal Performance from New York University. Kym has sung with The St. Olaf Choir, The World Youth Choir, Vocalessence and is a founding member of the 4 Women A cappella group Chick Cheer. When Kym is not performing she spends her time teaching private voice lessons, choreographing and working with Hennepin Theater Trust‘s Triple Threat Program. In 2020 Kym Co-Founded Twin Cities Musical Theatre Training (TCMTT).

Shaun is an Emmy-award winning singer. He is the founder and lead singer of the internationally known acapella quartet, Tonic Sol-fa. Tonic Sol-fa sold nearly two million albums independently and has been featured in Newsweek and on the Today Show. In addition, he is driving the evolution of big band music forward with his band, which has produced PBS specials, toured the country, and the first studio recording and garnered a top 5 debut on the Billboard Jazz charts.

Elise Schroeder is a professional choreographer, working with a cappella groups across the country. Elise has brought her expertise as a clinician and choreographer to NACC, BOSS, Milwaukapella, among others, in addition to judging Varsity Vocals compeitions.

Ryan has been teaching high school vocal music for the past 15 years. He directed 5 vocal ensembles and led the musical theatre department. He has been instrumental in building an award winning a cappella group, Vocal Point.

Katie McKnight has taught vocal and choral music at the secondary level for 14 years. She currently teaches vocal arts and music theory at the Performance Institute of Minnesota Arts High School (PiM) in Eden Prairie, MN. Before teaching at PiM, Katie was the choir director at Jordan High School (MN) and Appleton East High School (WI), where she led award winning treble contemporary a cappella programs. As an arranger, she has written ICHSA sets for award winning a cappella ensembles for over 10 years. Katie received her Bachelor's of Music degree in Choral/General Music Education with Piano Pedagogy Emphasis from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI and her Master of Arts Degree in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Her Master's thesis centered on contemporary a cappella curriculum development for the secondary classroom.
